Trust
“O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”
Psalm 34:8 (KJV)
What does this mean?
This verse invites us to experience the goodness of the Lord for ourselves, not just hear about it from someone else. Blessed — truly happy and secure — is the person who puts their trust in Him. Faith here is personal, something tasted and known, not only believed in theory.
What does this teach us?
Faith is more than hearing about God from someone else; it is an invitation to know Him personally and experience His goodness. Trust grows when we actually lean on Him, and that experience becomes its own evidence. God does not ask for blind faith — He invites us to come and see.
How can we apply this?
Instead of only reading about God's goodness, bring Him one real worry today and watch what He does with it. Tell someone what God has done for you in your own words. Take one small step of trust before you feel ready.
